One of our challenging projects, the work done for BPCL at Uran included a variety of works such as, laying the LPG tank pad foundation, creating sub station buildings, compressor house, flare stack, among other things. 

 

Scope of work included:

1)    LPG tank pad foundation: 39 mtrs diameter and 750 Cum concrete & 250 MT steel.  Further with 250 columns supporting desk slab (250 Cum of concrete & 325 MT steel).

2)    Dyke wall: 2.5 Dyke wall with walkway slab (Length = 550 Mtr) surrounding entire periphery of LPG area.

3)    Compressor house: Foundation of compressor house, foundation of compressor, structural work, roofing sheeting complete and gantry girder of built up section (600 mm Depth).4)    Sub-station building: Sub-station building with sub-station foundation, trenches, industrial flooring, insert rolling shutters etc. complete.

5)    Pipe rack for laying of cable / pipes:  Footing and columns concreting with later supported with structural frame upto 8 mtrs height at many areas.  Also fabricated bridges on pipe rack (Total length = 850 Mtr).

6)    Flare stack: Structural fabrication work for releasing of waste gases.  This is entirely structural fabrication work (68 M.T.) and 52 mtrs height.  The detailing was done with help of Tekla Software. Sections were manufactured to required specification.  
 
7)    Apart from the above, there are various works such as D.G. room, air compressor, service water reservoir, cooling tower, receiver exchanger unit, pre-heater unit etc.

Value of work : Rs. 18.5 crores
Total concrete volume : 9000 Cum (Structural concrete)
Reinforcement steel : 1170 M.T.
Structural steel : 350 M.T.
