Cobalt 66 is a radioactive material used for sterlisation of food materials. The construction encompassed the raw-material bay, the processing area and the finished goods area along with office building and area developments. Most critical area was the construction of Radiation unit. The raft is 8 mtr deep and thk is 2 mt, walls are 2mtr thk and slab is 1.7 mtr. The concrete volume of this unit itself is more than 250 cum.
