Human resource has always been most important infrastructural resource and has always been the direct responsibility of the top management. This has resulted in a family like organization with low attrition rates. Now with growing requirement of manpower, Progressive is now in process to institutionalize the HR function.
The job role, responsibility and reporting structure has been finalized. Focus is now been provided to training by understanding the training needs of the various individuals. Progressive has initiated the campus selection process about 6 yrs back and had the opportunity to engage enthusiastic, talented and dynamic individuals who are presently heading various functions within the company.
Presently the company is working on an appraisal system that takes care of the dynamics of the construction industry. In line with the vision statement – the company is nurturing an environment of trust and openness, respect for ideas, valuing sincerity, honesty and hard-work, there by helping performers to take on growing challenges.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Progressive believes that ‘information is power’ and the success or failure of any projects depends on efficiency and the effectiveness of the reporting.
All our sites are connected via email and a enterprise software which allows for vital data to flow within the organization from different locations. This information is readily available to the concerned persons. The use of this technology enables the right decision can be taken at the right time thereby lowering costs and saving time.
Functions covered by our information technology initiatives include planning, procurement, receipt, project planning and control apart from accounting. We are also working to include our suppliers and other agencies into the network so that efficiency can be increased further.

SHUTTERING MATERIALS
Formwork and false work has always been the key aspect in quality and speedy construction of any project. Here two issues are critical – the system of formwork and the quantity of formwork. In order to have a command on this aspect, the company has manufactured enormous shuttering material over the years to take on project of any size and designed systems to facilitate the same.
However the strength of the company lies in its own design and fabrication wing that designs and develop shuttering material for inhouse consumption. Special mention to certain projects such as helical car parks, flyovers of Nerul and Badlapur, C shaped Slab; various other structures etc were designed and developed using modern techniques at the manufacturing facility of the company at Turbhe, Navi Mumbai area.
Over period of time the company has perfected this mechanism to delivery quality formwork. The design department headed by the top management has enabled the company to have a leading edge over the other companies.

MODERN MACHINERIES
Progressive believes that Civil Construction has become ‘mechanical’. The focus of the company has been to mobilize modern machinery to provide for the pace of construction.
The company now boasts of fleet of batching plants, concrete pumps, excavators, transit mixers, dumpers, mixers, generators and other allied machinery. The company has all concrete related machinery and intends to purchase further new machinery to further strengthen the growing demand of the infrastructural needs.
